Yoghurt contains alive bacteria called lactobacillus. Try to use home made curd for this purpose and do not dilute it. For skin infection, just take hung curd or yoghurt and apply directly. The cooling property of the yoghurt will soothe the itching and burning sensation whereas the bacteria present in the curd will control the growth of yeast.
Where the candida is internally affecting you in form of stomach upsets and infection then just eat a bowl full of curd thrice a day for speedy recovery.
Aloe Vera is a known anti-fungal herb. Extract the slime out of its sprig and apply on the skin. It will kill the fungus and soothe and moisturise the skin. You can also consume the Aloe Vera juice to clean the digestive system and restore the bacterial balance in the intestines.
Pure Aloe Vera juice is bitter and bad tasting. You can dilute it with equal parts of water and gulp it down in one go, twice a day.
Turmeric And Mustard Oil Mixture
Turmeric has been used as skin remedy from ancient times. Try to obtain raw turmeric root and grind it yourself. Processed packed turmeric may contain adulterants. Take a spoon of turmeric and add a teaspoon of mustard oil in it. Apply on the affected skin. Both Turmeric and mustard oil are anti-microbial in nature.
This paste can help in speedy alleviation of candida. The application of mustard oil can irritate some people; In such a case dilute it with lavender or coconut oil. You can also use pure turmeric with water to give it a paste like consistency. Let it dry for half an hour and wash off. Your skin may show a yellow tinge which will go away on its own with repeated washing.
Coconut oil has lauric acid. This fatty acid makes coconut oil anti-fungal. You can apply it directly on the candida. It is also ideal application for genital candida.
If the flavour goes down well with you then just gulp down two spoons of oil twice a day. Alternatively, just cook your food in this oil for relief from intestinal candida.
From its bark to leaves, all the parts of Neem have anti-septic properties. It is great for your skin and teeth. Grind a few leaves of Neem with water and apply on the infection. You can also obtain neem oil for application. Neem wash can also act as a deterrant to the fungal infection.
