1. Honey And Milk Potpurri

Honey is natural antiseptic that locks the moisture on skin ensures that it retains in the layers of skin for a long period while milk is a moisturizer because of its components like fat and proteins.

Mix honey and lukewarm milk in a small basin in the ratio 1:2. Make sure the quantity is enough to cover the affected area of your feet. Soak your feet in this mix for about 10 minutes. Gently massage your feet in upward circular motion. Relax your feet in the mixture for about 5 more minutes before washing them with water. Pat dry using a towel and hydrate with a good moisturizer.

2. Petroleum Jelly And Lemon Mask

The most common beauty product that we never run out is petroleum jelly. It has incomparable moisturizing properties. Lemon acts as a natural disinfectant and treats the damaged skin on the feet.

Soak your feet in warm water for about 20 minutes. Gently rub off the dead skin from the moistened heels. Don’t rub too harshly. Rinse with normal water and pat dry .Massage the mix of petroleum jelly and a few drops of lemon juice on your feet and cover them with socks. Keep it overnight.

3. Essential Oil Mixture

Oils are the first on the hydrator list. Coconut oil, olive oil and almond oil are best suited oils for skin smoothening. Though these oils are good  enough to be used singularly, you can mix these oils to let their goodness speed up the skin recovery process.

Soak your feet in warm water for about 15 to 20 minutes. Gently rub off the dead skin from the moistened heels. Don’t rub too harshly. Rinse with normal water and pat dry .Massage the mixture of oils on your feet and cover them with socks. You can also use a any other oil of your choice.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar Solution

Apple Cider Vinegar, being a microbial, kills the fungus and other infective microorganisms on the cracked heels. Warm water hydrates the skin.

Soak your feet in a solution of apple cider vinegar and warm water, in the ratio 1:3, for about 15 to 20 minutes. Gently rub off the dead skin from the moistened heels. Don’t rub too harshly. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry .Moisturize with a thick moisturizer.

5. Aloe Vera Gel Mask

Aloe Vera is rich in vitamins C,E and contains beta carotene which has unbeatable nourishing properties.  It has the ability to moisturize skin without making it oily. Basil is antibacterial in nature and hence keeps the uninvited infection at bay.

Mix the paste of 10-15 basil leaves with 2 teaspoon aloe vera gel. Rub this mixture on clean heels in upward circular motion. Leave the mask on for about 20 minutes. Wash with lukewarm water. Pat dry. Moisturize with a light moisturizer.

6. Ripe Banana And Coconut Mask

A banana contains ripens, rich amount of starch that changes into simple sugar as it ripens, making perfect combination with potassium and Vitamin E and C, to give a clear moisturized skin. Coconut on the other hand improves the texture of the skin as it easily penetrates the skin providing nourishment from within.

Mash the banana. Add coconut flesh to this paste. Apply this mask on clean heels and leave for about 20 minutes. Wash with normal water, Pat dry.
