4 Steps for Back Pain Relief

I have found four steps to relieve back pain completely. However it has been my personal experience that if you do not complete all the steps you may get only temporary relief. These steps are natural treatments that will help relieve and prevent pain in your lower back.

The first thing you need to do is analyze the factors that contribute to the pain. Sitting for long hours in front of the computer, lifting heavy weights, bad posture and lumpy mattresses can cause severe pain in the lower back. If these or any other factors are leading to back pain you need to look at ways to prevent the pain; that’s the second step.

If you are required to be in front of a computer for long hours then get up every hour and stretch your arms and back. Sit on a chair that offers your back firm support. In addition to this you can also walk for a few minutes every hour to break the monotony. Correct your bad posture. If lifting heavy weights is leading to the pain in your back then look at ways to reduce this strain.

The third thing you need to do is balance your muscles. This means you need to relax the muscles that are tight or strained and stimulate the muscles that are weak. Those muscles that are weak or tired will tighten and cause lumps and knots to form in the area. This causes long term damage to the body. In order to prevent this you can use a hot compress on your back. The heat will loosen the muscles and help them to relax. Exercising is another way to loosen stiff muscles.

The last step to prevent and cure back pains is to maintain a firm balance on your body. This means that you need to always walk with a good posture and offer your back good support when you sit or sleep. Flip your mattress over every month. This will offer you more support when you rest at night.

A huge number of people suffer from back pain and these 4 steps are simple and effective ways to reduce the strain on the back.
