5 Definite Ways to Prevent the Appearance of Wrinkles

It is definitely amazing you see a woman in her late forties looking more radiant and younger than she did in her 20’s . With the number of plastic surgeries and procedures available these days, I am not surprised. However, you do not need to go under the knife if you are not comfortable with it. You simply need to lead a healthy lifestyle and make certain changes in your food and diet and you will be on your way to youthfulness.

First you need to analyze your habits and your lifestyle. If you are a smoker or consume alcohol in high volumes then you need to stop. While the hot blasts of smoke that you release on your skin leads to you gathering wrinkles as if they had some value, alcohol leads to you getting skin that sags and looks droopy.

Getting a good amount of sleep every night won’t harm. When you sleep your muscle relax and it helps to clear skin and body conditions. However do not over do the sleep either. 5 to 6 hours is adequate, 7 to 8 hours are recommended and anything more than that cause obesity. You must keep in mind the kind of work you are into and the physical activity that you put your body through.

When it comes to food; eating a healthy diet devoid of fast foods and too many complex carbohydrates and drinking plenty of water and fruit juices helps your body and skin. Eat fruits and vegetables that hydrate your skin and prevent the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. Do not eat too much meat, go steady on the caffeine intake and eat plenty of vegetables.

Use sunscreen to protect your skin against the harmful rays of the sun. UV rays are known to be the leading cause of wrinkles and fine lines and premature aging. A good sun screen lotion will help to prevent them.

Most important factor in reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles is to get a good amount of exercise. When you exercise your muscles get toned and your body releases the toxins that are harmful and lead to corrupting your skin.

Remember, there is no way to stop the aging process; but there are definite ways to slow it down and look youthful and radiant.
