Do away with stressful situations and keep people who cause stress at bay. Stop smoking if you are addicted to nicotine. If you are a passive smoker try and avoid areas where you would be exposed to smoke.

Wash your face 2 or 3 times a day if you have normal skin and about twice as many times if you have oily skin or an oily T zone. You do not need to wash your face with just water and soap but can use various combinations like face washes, lotions, creams or with milk. Remember that your skin is a part of you so do not wash it like you were trying to get a stain off a white shirt. Be gentle with your skin, pamper it and treat it with care. Use one of the toners available in the market or simple use rose water dipped in ice cold water all over your face and neck. Moisturize your skin. Remember that creams have the most impact when used on moist skin.
