Acne Blemishes Treatments

Blemishes on the face reduce the person’s natural beauty. Most of the blemishes on a person’s face are caused due to severe acne breakouts. There are several steps that you can take to get rid of the acne on your skin and erase the blemishes gently.

Your skin care regime will have a huge impact on your skin. Start with washing your face 2 to 3 times a day in order to get rid of the oils and dirt that clog your pores. If your pores get blocked your skin is prone o blemishes and acne. Use a soap or face wash that suits your skin type. Avoid using harsh products on your skin as they may damage your skin.

It is extremely important that you use an alcohol free toner on your face after you wash it; this will help to clean the pores from deep within and unclog them. A toner or astringent will get rid of all the excess oils and dirt in your pores. Lemon juice can be used as a natural toner.

Use a light wash cloth on your skin daily to gently exfoliate it. You can also use an apricot or almond based face scrub on your face once a week to get rid of the dead skin. Exfoliating your skin also allows you to prevent blemishes from forming on your skin.

Your diet plays a huge role in the health of your skin. In order to prevent acne and blemishes on your skin you must avoid eating foods that are high in fats and oils. These aggravate acne breakouts and increase the risk of blemishes on your face.

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables in order to maintain the hydration levels in your skin. A well balanced meal will keep your skin clear and free of pimples and blemishes.

Do not squeeze or pop any pimples as this will increase the risk of scarring on your skin. If you notice scars on your skin then you must use honey on your skin; the anti bacterial properties of the honey will help to erase the scars from your skin.
