Add More Water To Your Diet To Lose Weight

If you are looking at shedding pounds and you are not very fond of dieting; then your new best friend is water. Water has absolutely no calories and it gives you a world of benefits.

Sipping a bottle of water rather than grabbing a beverage on a hot day will save you upto 200 calories. You need not make a huge attempt to loose calories by dieting when you have the choice of substituting a few drinks with water and you will automatically shed unwanted pounds.

The best way to increase your water intake is to stop aerated beverages like sodas. Each time you have a soda; you are adding a few hundred calories to your daily calorie intake. Rather than drinking a soda you must keep sipping water throughout the day. This will help you to rehydrate your body and also save you a few dollars a week.

Juices are great for us; however, it is unfortunate that in most cases they completely overtake us and we end up drinking only juice and forget about water completely. Juices are great as they supply the body with hydration along with plenty of vitamins and minerals. Thus they are energy boosters. A glass of juice for breakfast is great; however you must avoid sipping on juices throughout the day. For the duration of the day; water is your best bet.

Juices are healthy and nutritious but they are loaded with sugars and calories; this adds to your weight gain and hence you must avoid them. Water will help to rejuvenate the body as well; but it does not add any calories to your body and hence should be your choice of drink

Eating water based fruits and vegetables in the raw state is also extremely beneficial. They add to the water quotient of your daily requirement and they also provide you with essential nutrients.

Count the amount of empty calories that you consume daily from juices, sodas and candy and substitute all those drinks and food with water for a healthier lifestyle.
