Alternative Approaches to Reducing Wrinkles
Wrinkle on the skin are a result of loss of moisture and elasticity. As we age our skin begins to sag and this sagging skin collects and forms wrinkles. The most affected parts of the body are the face, neck and arms.
There are several treatments available and the number of cosmetic products that claim to reduce the effect of wrinkles are increasing by the day. There are also several home remedies that are useful and helpful in the prevention and cure of wrinkles and sagging skin.
One of the simplest and most effective treatments for wrinkles is to apply the white of an egg on your face and wash it off with warm water after a few minutes. The egg tightens up the skin and increases the moisture thereby reducing the wrinkles and making your skin more youthful. The treatment is extremely cost effective and you must do this 2 to 3 time a week.
Another treatment that can be administered at home is the use of vitamin E oil combined with lemon juice, yogurt and honey. All the ingredients need to be blended into a mixture that is not too fine and yet; not too thick. Apply the paste onto your skin with the help of a brush or a cotton ball and then let it dry off for about 30 minutes. Wash it off with warm water and you will fell the skin on our face softer. Regular use of this treatment will reduce the number of wrinkle son your face.
Coconut oil is effective in reducing the amount of wrinkles on your body. You must massage the oil onto your skin before going to bed at night and you will notice a healthy glow on your face as you wake up in the morning.
Apply lemon juice to your skin several times a day to get rid of the wrinkles and fine lines on your face. The juice helps to clean your skin and increase the elasticity of your skin.
For wrinkled skin the use of a toner is extremely important. You can make one at home instead of using anything that you can buy over the counter. First you need to mix vodka with fennel seeds and honey and let the mixture stay for a few days. Then you need to drain the excess residue out and use the liquid as a toner on your face. You will see a visible difference in your skin within a few days
