Being exhausted is second nature to us. We are constantly working and leading lifestyles that extract every ounce of our energy and leave us almost lifeless by the end of our day. This is not a good sign as it may be symptoms of an illness or poor health in general.

While a good diet plan will help you to not be drained out, an alternative therapy like aromatherapy will definitely help to increase your energy levels and help you to be more productive during the day.

When you are tired, your body, mind and soul all need some help. They can receive the help that they need from the blend of bergamot, geranium and Melissa. Use these 3 fragrances in equal portions and massage them onto your wrists and temples. Sniff your wrist at regular intervals or pour a few drops onto a tissue and keep it close to you.

Massage rosemary oils into your scalp. Let in sink into your skin and then use a hot towel on your head to let the oils diffuse even further.

Mandarin oils when used as a back or foot massage helps to get rid of stress that may be energy consuming.

Pour a few drops of lemongrass oil into a bowl of warm water and place your face close to the water so that you can inhale the fumes that arise from it. The fumes will instantly lift your energy levels and increase your productivity.

Draw a warm bath and add Calgary sage and rose oils and soak in the water for a few minutes. If this is done first thing in the morning you will have high energy levels all day long. If you have had a long day and you soak yourself in this bath at night it will help you to sleep well and wake up energized.

Care must be taken not to drink alcohol before or after having come in contact with Calgary sage as they have negative effects with each other. If you are pregnant or have high blood pressure then you must avoid using rose mary oil.
