Bacterial Diseases – Facts and Prevention

All of us are already aware that there are there are certain types of bacteria that cause diseases and infections. Bacteria are a type of microbe. Microbes are minute organisms that cannot be visualized with a naked eye. It can only be seen with the help of a microscope.  Viruses, fungi, bacteria as well as some parasites fall under the category of microbes.

It can be done by maintaining certain good habits like covering nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing, washing hands frequently, etc. Avoiding people who are affected with bacterial diseases is also important as some diseases are contagious.

Bacterial diseases are often caused in the genital areas. If proper care is not taken then it could lead to severe hazards. Therefore, it is essential to learn how to prevent such symptoms

Keep the genitals clean: The first and foremost thing that should be kept in the mind is to keep the genital organs uncontaminated and clean after the bowel movements. It is always better to wash after the bowel movements and then wipe off the area. In that way, one can stop the bacteria from traveling from the anus to the genitals. One should clean the entire area including the anus and the vagina with the help of an antibacterial wipe.

Tea bag: One has to soak a plain tea bag in water, cool it in the refrigerator and then apply the same externally to the genitals. This procedure provides relief to the itching caused by the bacterial diseases.

Yoghurt: Studies reveal that yoghurt is extremely effective in treating bacterial infections. 8 ounce servings of yoghurt help women with recurrent bacterial vaginitis and they need much less amount of medical advice from the doctors.

Apple cider vinegar: While cleaning the area that has been affected with bacterial diseases from outside, one should employ a blend of water and apple cider vinegar to the area. Though costly, Vitamin E when applied directly to the affected area has shown to be useful.
