As you enter your teen years you tend to get curious about a lot of things about yourself as well as in your environment. Most girls grow from the ugly ducklings into gorgeous swans. It is the attempt and the effort that you put in that reveals results. But don’t try to hard and don’t try everything at once as you will not know what works for you and what suits you best.
When wearing your makeup always remember that less is more. You do not need to show off all the colors of the rainbow on your face nor do you need to see your makeup from miles away. Your makeup needs to enhance your features and not take away from your natural beauty.
Your skin is young and des not need layers of makeup. Skip the foundation; instead you can use a concealer to cover up blemishes and zits. Pat it onto blend with your skin. Use translucent powder all over your face and apply it with a brush or a sponge. Accentuate your lips or your eyes. Do not go for both. Keep shades neutral.
Do not go for reds and maroons as they are for older women. Lining your lips with a liner darker than your lip gloss is a cardinal sin. Use gloss instead of matte lipsticks as you are young and gloss helps show off your features. When lining the lower lids of your eyes, do not line the insides of your eyes as they make them look smaller.
Go with your natural hair as it is always the one that suits you the most. If you must highlight your hair do it with a professional. Get a super trendy cut every so often.
If you suffer from severe acne consult a dermatologist. Do not try too many over the counter drugs and creams as they may cause more harm than cure.
Never leave the house without sunscreen. Your unprotected skin will be prone to sunburn, blemishes and increase your bout of acne if you already have zits.
And last but not the least never forget about your tips and toes. Never lave your house with chipped nail polish and nails.
And most importantly remember that beauty is internal. You need to love yourself and be happy with yourself to have radiant external beauty.
