It might irritate initially, but soon would sooth the pain. Alternatively, you can use full cloves for the purpose. Take a clove and place it over the paining tooth. Now, keep on biting it slowly with the paining tooth to let it juice over the paining area. You can use this remedy whenever your tooth pains. Preferably, use it at least once a day.

Take a glass of warm water and add one teaspoon of salt to it. Fill your mouth with the salt water and rinse for around 30 seconds. Repeat the procedure 4-5 times. The salt in water causes the fluid to seep out of the skin. Also, salt water helps in cleaning your mouth of all the problem causing micro organisms.

Ice Pack

Using ice packs is an age old remedy to overcome pain. You might have noticed people using ice packs over bruises. This is because, the intense cold of ice causes numbness and reduces sensation. This means that the pain still persists, but you cannot feel it. It is an amazing remedy to get temporary pain relief.

Ice Pack For Toothache

Wrap 2-3 ice cubes in a clean cloth and press it lightly over the affected area. Let the ice pack stay in contact with the affected area for around 5 minutes and then release it to let the tooth relax for same time (5 minutes).

Repeat the process until entire ice in the pack melts. You can follow the remedy twice or thrice in a day, whenever you feel intense pain.
