Blueberries Can Help You Lose Fat At The Waist

Who doesn’t want to lose fat at the waist and look trim and beautiful. Besides losing fat helps to improve ones health and fitness in life. Eating a diet containing blueberries helps to reduce fat at ones waist and promotes good health.

Blueberries help to reduce fat at ones waist and helps to promote the health of a person. Losing of fat at the waist  helps a person prevent heart diseases, heart attack and also diseases like hypertension or high blood pressure. Recent  research has proved that if a person eats a diet rich in blueberries he/she lost abdominal/waist fat that is the cause of many heart diseases.

In addition the person also reduced his chances of being prone to diabetes. Besides he could reduce the fat in his blood and had a lower LDL  cholesterol reading with a good amount of HDL cholesterol. Even those on a high fat diet showed considerable loss of  fat on the waist area.

Blueberries had a rich source of anti-oxidants that helped people to have a strong base to fight free radicals and all forms of pollution. The bodies effect to process glucose for  energy improved. Blueberries have been found to be equal to if not better than fruits and vegetables in mitigating their good effect due to the presence of  natural chemicals called anthocyanins.

Experiments to find out the effect of blueberries were carried on rats. Even rats who ate a high fat diet combined with blueberries showed lesser fat at the waist after 3 months as compared to other rats who were fed on a high fat diet alone.  They also had lower cholesterol, better insulin sensitivity and glucose control. However the effects of reduced waist fat was more pronounced on those fed on a low fat diet.

Exercise could surely help one reduce fat at the waist and improve chances of living a long and full life. They could improve the flexibility of ones body also. Besides eating a low fat, low calorie diet with a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables could help one lose fat.  An active lifestyle without stress can help to get weight loss results faster leading to loss of fat at the waist. However if one makes it a habit to take blueberries in some form or the other in ones daily diet one can surely be able to lose fat at the waist.
