Chamomile tea is another great home remedy that helps soothe itchy skin by reducing the inflammation in the skin. Honey can also be used for skin health. Though it is quite sticky and quite messy to apply on the skin it is rich in antioxidants and helps the skin to heal faster.
You should also consider using soaps and detergents that are hypoallergenic. If you use make up, creams or any kind of lotions ensure that they are hypoallergenic as well. Ensure that your diet is gluten free as this could also cause severe dry skin. Avoid foods that are very sweet in fact try to avoid consuming sugar and chocolates as these would only aggravate your condition. Also stay away from fried foods and processed foods.
