You say excess sweat irritates the peeling skin, and to avoid it. I am training with my team for a marathon, and have already gotten beyond your "pre-warning." With a moderate sunburn not yet peeling, I noticed that 4 days after the burn, sweat from a 30 minute walk stayed under the top layer of skin. These tiny bubbles can sometimes break easily with pressure, mild abrasion, or just to the touch. Some merge with others into large bubbles, and they often release the liquid quickly as the skin starts to peel--an odd, wet feeling. But some stay longer, and get smaller/disappear. Has the sweat gone inward to rehydrate lower layers of skin? 3 days after this incident I had little peeling skin left. I exercised more intensely than previously, and was surprised to see these sweat bubbles again. Is this normal for exercise after moderate sunburn? Your help with peeling needs to cover not only those things to avoid, but say something about what to do when it is not or cannot be avoided. I would like this help now.
