
Arthralgia, a Greek word (Artho means joint and algos means pain) exactly denotes joint pain. It is an indication of injury, illness or sickness (arthritis) or a sensitive reaction to drug. In general, joint pain is considered to be a symptom of arthritis. The grounds of joint pain can also be due to irritation of bursitis or any injury to the joints. However, there are a lot of ways of curing joint pain.Exercise: It is a way of growth of the muscles in the region of the joint and to help in upholding the vigor of the bones. There are a few types of exercises, which should be performed to cure joint pain but only after consulting the doctor.
Motion exercises, strengthening exercises and aerobics play a role in curing joint pain. While motion exercises alleviate the stiffness and boost the movement of the joints, strengthening exercises strengthen the muscles that sustain and guard the joint. Aerobics helps in the overall fitness of the body, which includes joint pain.
Warm baths: Warm bath is helpful in relieving the aching muscles. Soaking the part of the body affected by joint pain in warm water for about 15-20 minutes helps in relieving the pain. One can also massage the area soaked in warm water to get relief from the muscle aches. Bathing by warm shower can also aid by positioning the warm water of the shower to the region which has been affected by pain.
Massage: Aromatherapy massage is a good way to balance the conservative nursing and remedial treatment to joint pain. It has been seen that massage is a wonderful way of curing and healing joint pain.
Hot vinegar: Rubbing the area of pain with hot vinegar before going to bed is a good and helpful remedy of joint pain.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Dissolving two teaspoons of an apple cider vinegar and two teaspoon of honey in a small glass of water and drinking the mixture twice a day is an effective for joint pain treatment.
Olive oil: Massaging the affected area with two parts of pure olive oil and a part of kerosene oil helps in relieving pain and is a good remedy for joint pain.
