Dietary Changes to Control Allergies

Allergies are not uncommon in our lives. Pollution, dirt and dust, animal danger and other pollen are common allergens. In addition to these factors food also can cause allergies and these are the most dangerous kinds as they can lead to death if the attack is severe. The first thing that you need to do in order to prevent an allergy attack is to understand the cause of the allergy. After you have done this curing it will not be a difficult task.

A few changes in your diet will help you to keep your allergies in check no matter what is the cause of the condition. In order to keep your allergies in check you need to increase your immunity and strengthen your physical resistance to be able to fight any allergens that come your way. If you notice your allergens acting up and this is causing disruption in your daily chores then you must go on a fruit diet for 3 to 4 days.

This will help to clean the toxins from the body and eliminate the allergens completely. After you have completed the fruit diet you can get onto a nutritious raw food diet. In this diet you eat all fruits and vegetables in the raw state. This will keep your system free of processed and refined products; thereby strengthening the body to fight allergens and eliminate any that may be logged in your system. After a week or so of following this sort of a diet you may resume on your normal diet. Make sure that you do a detox diet once a month though.

While you are battling allergies you must remember that there are certain foods that you need to eliminate from your diet completely in order to live a healthier happier life. Caffeine based foods like tea and coffee, energy drinks, processed meats, unpasteurized mil, full fat butter, clarified butter and tobacco and alcohol all reduce immunity and therefore they help the allergy attacks. Hence these foods must be eliminated from your diet completely.
