Dietary Considerations to Overcome Fatigue and Exhaustion
There are various causes why you may suffer from fatigue and get exhausted. We all find ourselves in a position where we are expected to work for long hours at certain points in our lives. It is not uncommon to spend a few days in the days in the year working excessively either at home or at the office.
Working mothers are exhausted most of the time as they try to balance out work and the home. Work at home mothers suffer even more as they juggle the chores and their work. Though there is very little one can do to control the environment you can work on your dietary pattern in order to be able to control this condition.
On days when you expect to have a huge work load you must remember to eat healthy and nutritious food. When you are busy you tend to snack on fast food; that’s the biggest mistake you make. Snacks need to be healthy and nutritious. Ensure that you snack in between your meals in order to have high energy levels. It will also keep you on your toes and increase your stamina to go through all the chores during the day.
Eat plenty of whole grain cereal. As a matter of fact you can keep a bowl of breakfast cereal with you and munch on it through the day. This is a healthy snack that will load you with fiber and minerals and vitamins to keep you going.
Get a massage during mid day if possible. If you are constantly low on energy then you must get regular massages and make it a part of your lifestyle. You need not go to a fancy spa for a treatment. A foot rub at home will suffice. You can also soak your feet in hot water or better still have a warm bath infused with aromatic essential oils. This will increase your blood circulation and thereby increase your energy levels instantly.
Eat plenty of fiber rich foods and increase your intake of Vitamin B in order to have increased energy levels. Milk and other dairy products needs to be a huge part of your daily diet. Start the day with a glass of milk and you will notice your energy levels increase drastically.
