The best way to stay away from stomach ulcers would be to avoid constant use of drugs like Aspirin, spicy food, coffee, alcohol, nicotine and of course, extreme stress. Having experienced something as unbearable as a stomach ulcer something as little as not keeping your stomach empty would go a long way in keeping that burning sensation away.
