Dry Hair Remedies And Various Easy Ways To Maintain Great Hair
It is a fact that, there are near about 150,000 hair follicles present on the head of a human being. Everybody should take care of his or her hair to keep it beautiful and healthy. The other causes of dry hair are rebonding, extensions of hair, usage of extreme heat to straighten curly hair, too much use of hair dyes and hair care products, etc. Due to the regular use of chlorine water, shampoos and conditioners to wash the hair, too much oiling on a regular basis, atmospheric pollution and excessive chemical treatments, the symptoms of dry hair can also appear.
Natural Remedies For Dryness of Hair
Some Effective Oils
Olive oil is one of best effective remedies to treat dry hair. You can apply two tsp of olive oil on your scalp and let it dry for about 10 to 15 minutes. After that, wash your scalp with a mild shampoo gently. Again, you can make a mixture of olive oil and castor oil and apply it to your hair. Keep that mixture on your head for about 2 to 3 hours and rinse it firmly. You should continue this application once daily for about 20 to 40 days as it gives you a better result.
To get rid of this problem you should prepare another mixture of equal amount of almond oil and coconut oil and put this mixture over your head. Leave it for 40 to 60 minutes and wash it off with warm water. The application can be continued for 2 to 3 months repeatedly as it results in healthy hair growth.
Apply the Mixtures on Your Head
The mixture of camphor and coconut oil is the other beneficial treatment for brittle hair. You can make this mixture by adding 2 tsp of camphor into a cup of coconut oil and rub it over your scalp. You should rub this mixture every night before going to bed for about 40 days repeatedly. Another solution would be applying the mixture of 2 tsp of castor oil, 1 tsp of mustard oil and 1 tbsp of coconut oil, to your hair as it can heal the problem fast.
Again, you can prepare a fine paste by mixing the juice of half a lemon with 2 tsp of coconut oil. Massage your dry hair with this paste before going to bed and leave it overnight. Then wash it off with fresh warm water on the next morning. You can also apply neem oil instead of coconut oil into this paste. Apply this process for about 20 to 40 days to get a better result in a short period.
Usage of Few Other Pastes
To make your hair healthy you should apply a paste of 2 tsp of yogurt, 1 beaten egg and 2 tsp of coconut oil. After making this paste, rub it on your scalp and leave it to dry for 20 to 30 minutes. Then rinse your hair with a cup of lemon juice and wash it off with lukewarm water.
You can prepare another paste by mixing some natural ingredients such as 3 tsp of henna powder, 2 tsp of the fenugreek seed powder, 2 tsp of curd, one and half tbsp of coffee, two and half tbsp of mint juice and 2 tbsp of juice of the basil leaves. After preparing this paste, you can apply it on your hair for 2 to 4 hours. It is not only good for dry hair treatment, but also leaves a natural darker color. To wash your hair, use a natural and mild shampoo as you will get soft and smooth hair.
Benefits of Ripe Banana
Ripe banana has an effective property, which can remove the dryness of hair and allow the normal growth of hair. You can make a mixture of two ripe crushed bananas, half a cup of yogurt and one cup of honey and apply this to the hair. Tie a clean towel over your head gently and leave it for 30 to 40 minutes. After that, you should rinse your hair and you will feel better result immediately. To get the glowing and shiny hair you can prepare another mixture by adding a ripe smashed banana with the pulp of a ripe avocado. Massage your scalp with the paste and keep it on for 30 to 40 minutes. After that, wash it off with fresh cool water as it can remove the dry condition of hair quickly.
Few More Natural Dry Hair Remedies
Applying a mixture of equal amount of grinded eclipta elba, Indian gooseberry, corals and the seeds of black sesame on your head is very useful in this treatment. You can also apply a preparation that is made by adding some grinded licorice with a cup of milk to your hair once daily as it can cure your dry damaged hair. You can also try using the paste of some lemon seeds and black pepper to get relief from this ailment or rub a small portion of mayonnaise on the scalp as it is also very effective for dry hair treatment.
Consumption of Foods
To get instant relief you should consume the juice of lettuce and spinach once everyday. Try to include some green leafy vegetables, fruits, salads, milk, buttermilk, yeast, soybeans, whole grains and nuts in your daily diet.
