Easy Home Remedies to Reduce the Appearance of Freckles
Freckles on a child look adorable but as they grow up these very marks become the reason for their ridicule and mockery. A few freckles are adorable but once you notice them spreading you need to act upon this in order to prevent them spreading all over your body. Prolonged exposure to the sun leads to the spots getting darker and over time they become the focus of your face and diminish your natural features.
Generations have used lime juice to reduce or bleach freckles on the skin. The vitamin C in the juice helps to fight the freckles and reduce the marks. Rub the juice all over your face and then leave it for 15 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. Over time you will notice that any marks and scars on your face are lighter and your skin will also appear lighter. This is due to the high levels of concentrated vitamin C in the lime juice.
You could also try using a natural face scrub with grated almonds and milk cream. Use the scrub on your face and any other parts of your body that are scarred with the freckles.
Use a topical bleaching agent at the same time you must also try and increase your intake of Vitamin C. It will increase your tolerance to the sun and sun damage that increases the intensity of the freckles. These creams and lotions will have maximum impact when you use them during the day especially when you are outdoors. You must also try and use these creams at night so that your skin is able to absorb the cream.
You must also use a good sunscreen lotion; the kind that will protect your skin from damage and prevent the appearance of the freckles and spots on your skin. Use a sunscreen with moisturizing properties.
