Women in today’s society have grown into a very health conscious segment. They try everything to keep themselves fit and healthy. However, the health complications are considerably more with women as compared to men. Therefore, knowledge of health issues is always helpful in maintaining a healthy body. The very first introduction of your health is your skin which without uttering a single word can describe a lot about your health and can give a wrong message about your age. So maintaining a good looking and glowing skin is an important factor associated with female health. This can be done either by taking various vitamins (A, B, C and E) in your diet or using different beauty product available in the market. Fruits and vegetables are the simplest way to supply vitamins to the body.

Shape of breasts plays an important role in your look and you may not look appealing if shape and size of your breast is not ideal. Apart from this breast cancer has become very common disease in last few years. Among the women of age group of 40 and above almost 10% women are getting breast cancer and the percentage has recorded to growth in recent years. A low fat diet, regular exercise and avoiding heavy drinking may help in preventing breast cancer. However, it is always advisable to have a breast exam in case of even a small doubt.

Another health issue associated with female is the disease of female reproductive organs, its structure, menstruation cycle etc. Menstruation is important source of information about the well functioning of female reproductive organ. It indicates that the organ is in good condition and is functioning well. If your menstruation cycles are not regular and if they are abnormal, you should without any doubt consult a doctor. Similarly a great degree of care is required when a women is pregnant. The pregnant woman should be under constant supervision of a doctor. Any abnormalities during pregnancy should not be taken easy. You should go and ask a doctor for the treatment.

During post menopause, when menstruation of a woman stops, she may encounter the situations like increase in weight, decrease in desire for sex, insomnia, night sweats etc. This makes life frustrating and irritating and it becomes really uneasy to adjust with this new phase of life. If you find these symptoms in you, you should go to a gynecologist for a check up. She will definitely help you facing this new phase in your life.
