One of the thumb rules for better health by means of feng shui is to get rid of clutter in your living and working space. There is an extremely logically reason for this. Clutter tends to disrupt your normal flow. When you are surrounded with clutter and dirt, you are automatically drawn to negativity and tend to feel lethargic. In this case the best remedy is to clear away all unnecessary clutter. Open up your living spaces in order to invite positive energy. Clearing up also helps you to have access to fresh air and hence invites better health and improves mental health conditions.

Choose the colors that you paint your room wisely. The right colors can keep you going. You need to have the décor in your house compliment the walls and use them in such a way that they work to promote your health. Softer pastel colors will help you to relax while reds and greens will keep your energy levels high. Choose colors that are calming and relaxing in the bedrooms and dining rooms while the kitchen and living room can portray vibrant colors.

Your bedroom needs to be well ventilated. Use a firm mattress that helps you to rest well at night. Make sure that the drapes in your bedroom prevent outside light from interfering with you getting the adequate amount of sleep that you need. Place your bed against a wall, this helps to provide you support.

Whilst you may notice that the tips mentioned are mostly that of common sense; it is in fact the ways of feng shui. Practicality is one of the main works of feng shui.
