Fighting calories and fats at home

Lipids or fats are the nutrients in the foodstuff that the body uses to put up nerve tissue and the hormones. Fat is also used by the body as the fuel like the calories. Calories, on the other hand, are a unit of energy that measures the energy a food provides to the body. Too much fat in our diet makes the way for a number of heart diseases, obesity and certain type of cancers. Calories are required for our day to day activities like to breathe, to digest, to move and even to blink our eyes. However, excess intake of calories has proven to be harmful for our body as they are stored in the body in the form of fat.

Home remedies for fat and calories:

Citrus fruits: Citrus fruits or fruits rich in vitamin C like papaya, limes, sweet lime, lemon, guava, oranges, tangerines, grape-fruits are full of fiber and have the capability to burn excess fat from the body. These fruits are also called as fat burners or fibers. Vitamin C helps in diluting of fat and in making it less effective. It also helps in releasing of fat from the body.

Calcium of dairy products: Cheese, yoghurt and milk are fat burners. They help in losing weight by increasing the breakdown of fat in fat cells. According to some researchers, 3-4 servings of dairy products help in an effective reduction of weight than by the intake of calcium production alone.

Regular exercise: Exercise is the best way to reduce excess calories and fat from the body. One must always make it a point to perform a regular exercise for 30-45 minutes each day in order to keep the body free from calories and fat and thereby fit and healthy.

Awareness: One must always be aware of excess calories stored in the body. Hence, performing small tips in the day to day life make it easier for the body to burn those calories like using a staircase instead of lifts, walking short distances instead of traveling by car, etc.

Hot water: Use of hot water helps the body in fighting fats and calories. While taking bath, one must always use warm water. The temperature of the water needs to be adjusted so that it is suitable for bathing. Again, drinking warm water helps in reducing the body from the excess fat and calories. Here also, the water must be such that it is possible for a person to drink the same.
