Fruits are good for health because they provide us with vitamins, minerals and energy. All fruits are good for health, however one should make sure that one must have these five fruits; guavas, lychee, papaya, banana and pomegranate to enjoy good health.

Guavas is the must fruit for good health. They are available in plenty in tropical countries and have a rich source of antioxidants. This helps to protect oneself from stress and pollution. Besides it has a rich source of Vitamin C, which is very  important to fight diseases and build up immunity power. The fiber content of guavas  cannot be ignored. Fiber is essential to detoxify one’s body and eliminate toxins and wastes. Fiber also helps in weight loss. Guavas are a must even to fight age related problems. So do get your weekly supply of guavas when you visit your super-market.

Lychee, good to look at and a must fruit for one’s daily supply of Vitamin C. Besides, lychee is a must fruit one must have because it has copper, potassium and riboflavin. However it is best to take this fruit as a whole and avoid juices.

Papaya, the next of the must have fruits is very good for the skin and helps to delay the process of aging. Besides papaya has papain, a natural digestive enzyme that  helps to clean one’s digestive tract.  The content of Vitamin C, folate and potassium in papaya cannot be overlooked. This is a fruit one must have because this fruit is low in calories and has 13 times more Vitamin C than oranges, 50 times more potassium and four times of Vitamin E of apples and oranges. Papaya has a good amount of caroteids and lycene also.

Banana, a poor man’s fruit is rich and a must have fruit being easy to digest. It has many vitamins A, B, C and other elements like calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous,  potassium and zinc. Raw banana used in various dishes in countries like India have a  rich source of iron. Besides it has a rich source of fiber and is very good for the heart. Banana helps people get over acidity and prevents and protects ulcers in the  stomach.

Pomegranate, a must have fruit is a rich source of anti-oxidants; being three times better than red wine and green tea. This fruit can be enjoyed as benefit to the heart and prevents clogging of the artery. Pomegranate is effective in the treatment of anemia, intestinal parasite irritation and helps in treatment of piles and asthma also. Beside, it promotes appetite and can be used by woman suffering from morning  sickness during pregnancy. The storehouse of Vitamin B, C, calcium and phosphorous cannot be overlooked. Men having prostate cancer can use it as an effective cure.
