Wash all the utensils and surfaces that you will be cooking the food on, in warm water and soap. This helps to eliminate the possibility of bacteria and germs that are harmful to the system. Refrigerate leftovers after consumption. This helps to reduce the bacteria that form in the food. Also freeze foods if you are not going to consume them within 24 hour. It is the best way to preserve them.
