Hair Care Solutions for Dandruff
Dandruff can be embarrassing and irritating and getting rid of it is not a walk in the park either. Dandruff is dried skin that forms flakes in the scalp of your hair and attaches to it. Sometimes it is painful as it forms large lumps that do not leave the scalp. In other cases the dandruff is loose and it falls off from your hair when you comb it or run your fingers through your hair. It is important to take care of the dandruff at the earlier stages as it leads to acne and pimples if it starts falling on your face. Dandruff is also one of the main causes of hair fall and balding in both sexes.
Home remedies for dandruff
Dandruff is caused as a result of extremely dry scalp. In order to take care of this you need to make sure that your scalp is not dry and this can be done by massaging your scalp with oil regularly. The best oil to get rid of dandruff is coconut oil. It helps to soften your scalp and prevents the formation of flaky dandruff. Before you massage the oil onto your scalp you must heat the oil and then massage it, the warm oil helps to ease the stress and tension that you may be experiencing while softening the scalp at the same time. After a massage you must let the oils sink into your scalp and then wash it off after a few hours. The oil will penetrate into your scalp and help to ease the flakes if they are stuck to your scalp.
If you have dandruff then you need to take care about the kind of products that you use on your hair. Do not wash your hair too often. Washing too often will cause your scalp to get dry. You must also avoid using too many products on your hair and avoid using hot irons and dryers as they cause damage to the hair follicles and scalp. Do not use products on your hair too often. Drink plenty of water to keep your body and scalp well hydrated.
