Oatmeal: Oatmeal bath is considered as one of the best natural remedies to get rid of the itching sensation caused by chicken pox. Boil two cups of oatmeal in water for about fifteen minutes. Put the mixture in a cloth bag and tie a string around the top of the bag.
The bag should then be allowed to float in a tub of warm water until it becomes opaque. Now splash the water on the scalds. This is a good home remedy for chicken pox.
Marigold flowers and witch hazel leaves: The rash of chicken pox is extremely itchy and needs to be controlled. Take two teaspoons of marigold flowers and witch hazel leaves and soak them in water for a full night.
In the morning, use this water by applying it on the blisters.It is an extremely useful remedy for controlling the itching otherwise, bacterial infection can set in.
Vitamin E oil: Vitamin E oil is an excellent home remedy for chicken pox. Just take some vitamin E oil in your hand and rub it on to your skin. The healing potential of this oil is extremely good. Herbal tea: Herbal tea is an effective natural remedy for chicken pox. There are a number of herbs that are extremely useful for treating chicken pox. Some of them are basil, lemon balm, chamomile and marigold. After preparing this tea add lemon and honey or cinnamon into the tea and drink this tea many times a day.
