Healing Properties of Lemon

The lemon tree was vastly cultivated in India. And it has been grown there for centuries. The tree is now being cultivated in the Tropics and the Mediterranean. The juice and the fruit are acidic and hence they help to reduce acidity and low blood pressure.

They are used in the cure stomach related issues that caused hyper acidity due to its anti inflammatory properties. The juice is also known to help to cleanse the stomach by helping regulate bowel movements and lose toxins through perspiration.

Lemons are used for those who suffer from loss of appetite. It is also known to aid digestion and strengthen your body defenses. It is also helpful in the cure of inflammation of the skin, insomnia, stomach cramps, digestive disorders, asthma, and heart palpitations and helps the system with diseases related to the stomach and the liver.

To help to cure a nose bleed squeeze the juice of the lemon and dip a cotton ball in the juice and apply it to the outside of the nostrils. This helps to bleeding as the astringent effect of the lemon helps the nerves to come together.

When suffering for a sore throat or inflammation in the throat; squeeze a lemon in a cup of hot water and add salt to it. Use this to rinse your mouth and throat and you will feel relief within a few hours. Do this three to four times a day.
