Health Benefits of Raw Foods and Juices

I am a firm believer in the raw food culture. I have faith in the curative powers of raw food. The fact of the matter is that our body is made up of different compounds. Diseases are caused by chemicals and we add more chemicals in our body to prevent and cure them, so by avoiding chemicals in our system all together we are able to avoid the entire cycle.

Vegetables are a rich source of minerals and vitamins. When we process these foods we break down the composition of the food and loose the nutritional value, hence when you eat them in the raw state you gain the most from them. Most diseases known to modern man can be treated with the help of nutrition.

A few suggestions to have better health

Eat raw foods daily. These can include raw fruits, vegetables and nuts. You must eat them as snacks between meals. Consume them in larger quantities as they have natural nutrients and sugars that help rather than harm your body.

Processed foods and drinks are harmful and must be avoided. Canned juices, sodas and colas, coffee and teas prove to be harmful to your health in the long run. Alcoholic beverages provide absolutely no value to your health and therefore must be eliminated from your diet.

Salt is not good for your body either when you eat raw foods, they provide you with the amount of salt that your body requires. Increase in the amount of sodium in your body increases your blood pressure and the risk of heart related disorders.

Fresh vegetable juices help to enhance your digestion and reduce hyperactivity. They provide your body with the essential nutrients that you need for a longer healthier life.

If you consume poultry, red meats or fish then avoid frying them but eat them steamed or grilled.
