Salad is a mixture of raw fruits and vegetables. It can be with or without a dressing. Salad is considered as an appetizer and is served at the beginning of a meal. Green vegetables are considered as the powerhouse of nutrition. Intake of green leaves or salads has shown to be associated with longevity.
