A woman encounters a number of health problems during the precious period of pregnancy. These are the when her heart is filled with the joy of upcoming days when she will give birth to a baby and at the same time her body is caught by a number of health complications.

Maintaining a good health during pregnancy is a biggest challenge that a woman faces during her life. The problems that a woman experiences during pregnancy may include constipation, morning sickness, lack of appetite, mental stress, depression, hypertension, migraine, etc.

However most of these problems can be avoided by taking simple precautions. A good atmosphere is always necessary to maintain a good mental status. A woman should always thing positively during pregnancy. It will give her relief from the problems like stress, strain and depression. Diet becomes a greatest concern during pregnancy and a good dietary program, suggested by the doctor helps to avoid a number of health complications during pregnancy.

A woman should note that she has to feed two people during pregnancy, i.e., herself and the baby. Hence a healthy and balance diet is must during pregnancy. You should avoiding taking unhealthy food, too much spicy food and too much fatty food during pregnancy. As the requirement of vitamins and minerals suddenly increases during pregnancy, you should consume fresh fruits and vegetables to fulfill the requirement of vitamins and minerals. Inactive life style is not good during pregnancy, until suggest by the doctors due to some complications.

Keep you self involved in small home activities so that your body remains active and fit. Jogging and mild exercises are good during pregnancy. However any type of exercises performed during pregnancy must be done sensible and under supervision of some expert. You can perform sex during pregnancy but it should be done very sensibly to ensure that there is no harm to the baby. Drink water and water based fluids as much as you can everyday. Avoid taking carbonated and alcoholic drinks during pregnancy. Go for medical check up on a regular basis and take advice from your doctor time to time.
