Bad breath is a common and embarrassing problem for many individuals. This problem can be extremely frustrating and harassing for the sufferer especially if it is for a long term and the sufferer can notice that the people tend to stand back when the victim himself is talking.

After the intake of garlic, the active ingredients that are present in garlic are absorbed by the blood and cause the expelling by the lungs when one breathes.

Besides this, the sufferer should minimize the intake of food that can lead to the growth of bacteria leading to bad breath. The proteins in particular needs to be avoided as the bacteria causing bad breath flourish on protein rich food. Hence it has been found that the vegetarians who do not consume protein rich food are less prone to bad breath.

Yoghurt should be added to the diet of the sufferer on a regular basis. It not only helps to cure the bad breath but also prevents it from recurring. Besides this, the intake of foods that has rich contents of zinc like spinach, avocados, squash, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, radish, cauliflower, bananas, peach, kiwis etc aids in keeping the bacteria under control and thwart bad breath.
