Healthy Snacks that Help you to Gain Weight
While the general population is stressed out about loosing ponds there are a few souls who are desperately seeking some weight and will go to just about any lengths to gain the pounds they desire. While many would recommend binge sessions, I strongly disagree. It is not how much you eat but what you eat that will determine if you are going to gain the pounds you need or not. You need to eat the right foods to gain weight and eating just about anything is not the answer to your problems.
In order to gain weight you need to eat 3 full meals a day and have an equal amount of snacks. Avoid the junk food as it will make you add unnecessary fats. While attempting to gain weight your target is muscle mass and not fat.
A healthy snack must comprise of energy dense foods like dry fruits. Choose nuts like almonds, walnuts and peanuts. You can choose to have them in their natural form or add them to your cereals and milkshakes. Peanut and hazelnut butters make excellent sandwich spreads. Choose to have them with muffins, croissants or plain sandwich bread.
Fruits are a delicious healthy snack. Fruits like mangoes and melons are extremely dense and fill you up. They have nutrients like minerals, vitamins and antioxidants and are calorie dense as well.
Fish like tuna is an excellent source of protein. It makes an excellent salad and hence it can account for a meal or a snack. Choose vinegar and olive oil dressing then a mayonnaise dressing.
Chocolate milk is an excellent snack. Choose to have a hot cup of chocolate milk or a cold shake. Either way the milk and the chocolate help you to add the calories that you need. Pay attention not to add too much sugar though as it may be harmful to your body.
