Herbal and Home Remedies for Appendicitis

Appendicitis is a common intestinal problem that affects both males and females equally. It is a condition where the appendix gets swollen and needs to be surgically removed. Fruits and vegetables that are high in fiber are extremely helpful here. Blend a mixture of carrot juice along with beet root and cucumber in a ration of 1: 2 : 2 and keep the mixture overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning add pepper, salt and sugar to the mixture and drink a glass of it. You will be relieved of any pains that you are suffering from.

Buttermilk helps to eliminate the pain caused by the inflamed appendix as well.

Brewing a handful of fenugreek seeds for half an hour on a low flame with water and honey helps as well. Cool the mixture down to a temperature that you can drink it at and strain it. Drink a glass of it in the morning and night to get instant relief.

One must take care to go for regular visits if you suffer from stomach aches. Though herbal and home remedies are useful treatments; in certain cases they do not help and the person must undergo surgery to avoid there being any further internal damage. The best thing you can do is to let your doctor know what herbal remedies you are using for the pain.
