Chicken pox is a disease observed in children of age from three years to five years. It is an easily transmitted disease and can transmit from one patient to other easily. Taking oatmeal bath on a regular basis gives a great relief in chicken pox. If your child is suffering from chicken pox, you must give him/her oatmeal bath on a regular basis. You need to boil some oatmeal in water for about half an hour.

Herbal tea is very effective in curing chicken pox. The ingredient of the tea can be lemon, tulsi, marigold, chamomile, and honey. Herbal tea is very effective in quick relief from the symptoms of chicken pox. There are remedies available for controlling the symptoms like fever and itching. These remedies are helpful in quick treatment of chicken pox.

A person suffering from chicken pox should drink more than sufficient amount of water. Taking rest is very important in case of chicken pox because exposure to sunlight and other adverse weather conditions can worsen the condition. To reduce blistering of the skin, baking soda is used with water. Paste of baking soda in water is applied in the affected area. This will reduce blistering and will give relief from itching.
