We all flip through magazines and look at the models with flawless skin and shine free faces and wonder about the secrets to their natural glowing skin. There is actually no secret; the right amount of sleep, a good diet and a few home remedies can help your skin to glow and look flawless.

You need not spend money to get the kind of skin that you desire. Start with drinking lots of water. Keep a reminder to drink a glass of water every hour. The water will help you to flush out toxins from the body and this will help to keep your skin clear. You must make sure that you avoid other beverages from interfering with the amount of water you drink. Coffee and caffeine based drinks absorb water from your skin and dehydrate it; thus you must avoid these drinks.

If your skin begins to feel dry then you can mash a banana and add a few drops of milk and apply this to your skin. You will notice that your skin will begin to feel moisturized within seconds. Wash it off after 20 minutes for best results. During the winter months you can add honey and lemon juice to the mashed banana and apply it to your skin overnight. Your skin will look soft and flawless in the morning.

Egg whites with honey help to add moisture to your face. It also helps to take care of the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on your skin. Regular applications will ensure that you avoid premature aging and age spots that are caused by the sun.

Use a face scrub to get rid of the dead skin cells on your face. Your face will look refreshed and radiant with regular face scrubs. Do not scrub the skin with great intensity as you may damage the skin. Avoid using the scrub on your face more than 3 times a week.

Almond oil is extremely healthy for your skin. You can use this oil internally and externally to make sure that the skin benefits from it. Add the oil to milk or use it to massage your skin and you will notice a positive difference in the texture of your skin.
