In today’s age the life has become very hectic. People are suffering from such problems which were unknown in earlier times. Anorexia is a disease which occurs due to unhealthy diet and lifestyle. It is also related with the mental condition of the patient.
Modern people think that doing excessive dieting will help them in maintaining a thin and well maintained figure. For the purpose they follow extreme level of dieting. When this habit does not work properly then they start excessive smoking and drinking without taking nutritious food. People who suffer from anorexia have unnecessarily thin body frame. They have irregular metabolism, decreased growth, lusterless skin and hair, poor blood circulation and reduced vitamin and mineral levels.
First thing needed to cure this disease is medical counseling of the patient. A person should understand that each person has different body frame and different metabolic rate. A good figure requires proper body care which can be achieved only through healthy diet and lifestyle. Achieving a good figure requires long term goals. It can never be achieved in short period with improper habits.
Eating fresh fruits like oranges and apples every day increases appetite. These fruits are not only good for health but they also provide necessary fibers to digestive system for proper digestion of food. The fibers naturally tones down the body muscles and helps in maintaining good figure. Boil one glass of water with some cloves. Drink this water with half lime juice. It is one of well known home remedies for anorexia.
Garlic is very good for increasing diet of a person in healthy manner. It stimulates the digestive juices and hunger pang increases. Take as much green vegetables like tomato, cabbage, cucumber and carrot in diet. Adding spices to daily food can also do wonders to get away from anorexia. Some forms of yoga are also very useful in calming down the mind and removing the problem of anorexia.
