Home Remedies For Back Pain

Excessive physical exertion, occupation which involves long hours of sitting, aging etc are the factors which can lead to the problem of back pain. It is a common ailment experienced by almost everybody in life. Due to back pain a person experiences a constant pain and sometimes it is too severe to tolerate. The overall movement of body becomes very painful and miserable. Bending forward or sideways becomes very difficult due to backache.

Back pain can happen to anybody of any age, however older people are always at higher risk of getting back pain. Injured muscle, bones or the ligament can also be a reason for the back pain. In this case the back pain is said to be chronic pain. Other factors responsible for back pain are constipation, pelvic disorder in women, kidney infection, problem of prostate in men etc.

Generally people use pain killer for getting rid of back pain, but a long term use of these medications may lead to a number of other health complications. Therefore, it is always advisable to avoid these medications. There are various home based remedies for back pain which are free from any sort of side effect and are very simple. A gentle message of the affected area can give relief from the back pain. Message with eucalyptus oil is very effective in avoiding back pain.

Mild and sensible exercise on a regular basis can be of great help in back pain. Take about 1-2 grams of ginger, mix them with 5 cloves and black pepper corns. Add the mixture to the tea, consumption of this tea twice or thrice a day will give excellent result in back pain.

Avoid exposure to excessive cold and keep body warm. Avoid cold edibles and take hot soups to keep body warm. This will be very helpful in avoiding back pain. Garlic is very helpful in pack pain, a daily consumption of garlic in food avoids the back pain. Increase consumption of garlic in you diet. You can take calcium tablets as supplement. Eat fruits and vegetables rich in calcium. Tulsi leaves are very effective in back pain. Take few leaves of tulsi, boil them and drink this twice of thrice a day. If these remedies are not helpful and your back pain is quite consistent, you should consult a doctor.
