
Dark circles make a person look elder than they actually are. There are many resons of dark circles around eyes, lack of proper sleep, and aging, liquid retention that causes puffiness and inherited factors are some of those. Hormonal Imbalance during menopause, pregnancy, menstruation causes skin paleness which can also increase under eyes dark circles.
There are many simple home remedies that can cure dark circles. Apply grated potato for overnight for at least a few times in a week. Place cotton pads dipped in cucumber juice on the eyes for sometime. Massage almond oil on the eyes gently, this is very effective home remedy for dark circles. Putting cucumber slices over the eyes is also helpful in getting rid of dark circles. Keep cotton balls dipped in the rose water over the eyes for sometime. Drinking more water is also useful. Apply a paste of nutmeg (Jaiphala) with milk on the dark circles this will give a cooling effect on the eyes. Apply paste of turmeric powder, tomato juice and lemon juice in gram flour and apply it for 5-10 minutes. Be careful while applying all these things around sensitive skin of eyes.
Nothing should be get into the eyes like lemon as this can create other problems like unsightly or bloodshot eye. Take a capsule of Vitamin E and pierce a pin on it, apply this around the eyes. This remedy is helpful in reducing puffiness and dark circles around eyes. Try to stay out from the sun. Apply sunscreen for avoiding dark circles to get darker. Avoid eating chocolates and sweets. Apply milk and powdered fenugreek to the dark circles. Apply this paste in night and wash it in morning. Home remedies for under eye dark circles are proving to be helpful in followed regularly.
