You may take ginger in form of tea by adding ginger juice to your tea. If you don’t prefer tea then you can have ginger beer as a much pleasant option.

Baking soda is perhaps the most effective home remedy for indigestion. Baking soda is chemically called sodium bicarbonate and can neutralize the effects of acid in the stomach. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder to 1 glass of water and stir till it dissolves completely, this gives immediate relief from an upset stomach.

If you have herbal teas at home, they could come handy in treating indigestion and other common stomach problems. Chamomile, ginger root tea, green tea, raspberry, blackberry or elm bark tea is quite useful in treating indigestion and heart burn.
