-Eat a balanced diet devoid of fats and oils. Fruits and vegetables are extremely healthy as they have several nutrients and minerals that provide your body the nourishment it requires.

-It is extremely important for you to sleep for 6 to 8 hours at a stretch. Avoid caffeine as it interferes with your sleep – wake cycle.

-Exercise helps you during painful periods. Keep the exercise light and warm up before you begin to avoid muscle pulls. Exercise also helps to relieve you from pain so it is a very good option.

If you continue to have irregular periods for more than 3 months then you need to visit a gynecologist. It is best to get yourself checked up as irregular periods may also be caused due to some other underlying health problem.
