What are blackheads?
Blackheads are the tiny black spots that you see on the pores of your skin. They normally appear on your face especially on your nose, on your back or any part of your body that produces oil. If your skin is oily then you are prone to blackheads. Once the blackheads begin to appear the pores on your skin get blocked leading to pimples. Thus if you are able to control your blackheads you will be able to control acne. Blackheads are normally seen in teenagers who have sebaceous glands working overtime. Improper skin care regime is the biggest cause of blackheads.
Home remedies to take care of blackheads
Simple ways to get rid of blackheads would include getting rid of them by a professional. A good facial cleanup session at the spa helps to get rid of these pesky dots on your face. Make sure that you have a professional poking at your face though else you will have more harm than good done.
At home you must change your linen regularly. Your pillow case is your biggest enemy. Oil collects on your pillow covers while you sleep and spreads t to different parts of your face. Changing your pillow covers every alternate night would be a good idea.
When you are taking a shower at home you can create your own personal sauna. Close all doors and ventilators and start the hot water and let it run from your shower nozzle. The steam will open up your pores and after 15 minutes you can run a rough towel across your face and body to red rid of the blackheads that may have surfaced. Alternatively you can also steam your face every day or two and towel dry it.
Avoid eating junk food and stay away from caffeine and fizzy aerated drinks. The high oil content in the junk food adds to your anxiety. Drink plenty of water and keep your skin well hydrated. Wash your hands after your meals in order to keep from transferring the oil from your food onto your face.
Wash your face every 3 to 4 hours to remove any traces of oil from your skin. Before going to bed wash your face thoroughly, pat dry with a towel and put on a blemish control cream. Aloe Vera creams are natural and works wonders on blackheads and pimple prone skin.
Remember blackheads appear at all ages so it is imperative that you maintain your hygiene and skin care regime at all times.

Excellent post, I myself stick to nothing but all natural beauty products. I am also very aware of the foods I eat as this is one of the main causes of bad health and most skin and odor issues.
