Papaya, the fruit of the tropical countries is long and of an oblong shape. You could find these fruits in the fermented form, as a juice, herbal teas and can be eaten fresh or in fruit salads.

The fruit has excellent sources of dietart fiber, folate, Vitamin A, C, and E and also is rich in calcium, iron, riboflavin, thiamine and niacine. It is also low in sodium and calories. These enzymes are responsible for all the chemical reactions going on in our body and for our physical and mental health.

Drinking the juice of the papaya fruit after an attack of fever, helps to bring back the good intestinal bacteria. Papain found in papaya digests the inert intestinal bacteria. It’s leaves and juice from its barks are used to cure mouth ulcers and toothache. To conclude eating papaya every day is good for health. It has various health benefits too.
