How Herbs Come To Your Rescue When You Are Stressed Out
Stress can hamper various aspects of your life. From impacting your mental health to being a burden on your physical health stress spreads its wings on all these areas in your life. In order to control stress levels you need to look at various natural remedies as they have the least amount of side effects. Herbal remedies and treatments are the best solutions for your condition.
Most of us start our day with a cup of hot steaming tea. When you begin to feel stressed out you need to drink a cup of hot oatstraw tea. Fortunately the herb is gentle and hence it can be taken daily. All you need to do is seep the herb in boiling water for 30 minutes and then you may drink 2 to 3 cups during the day. It helps to calm the nerves when you are stressed out.
Chamomile tea helps to relax the body due to its soothing properties. The herb is gentle on the system and hence is safe to have a few cups of the tea daily. When you begin to feel stressed out simply brew a cup of the tea and drink it in order to relax your senses.
Catnip is a sedative and it is used commonly to induce sleep for those that are stressed out. It hails from the mint family and thus it is used as a tea blend. This helps to control stress by relaxing the muscles and preventing muscle tension. This is a sure way to get rid of unnecessary stress.
Lavender oils and tea blends are known for their soothing effect on the mind and body in times of stress. If you do not have a room freshener then blend 20 drops of the oil with water and vodka and spray it around the house. This will help you to create a sense of calm in your living space.
Ginseng allows your body to deal with everyday stressors. The herb is available in capsules, oils and tea blends and this ensures that you are able to use it in the form that you think is best suited for you. If you are taking this herb in the form of capsules then you must remember to use it as per the dosage mentioned on the packaging. Remember that though it is an herbal supplement it is still a form of medication and hence you need to avoid over consumption.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your informative article. I have used chamomile and lavender as a stress reliever for many years but haven’t heard of hot oatstraw tea before.
I use ginseng but generally to energize myself so thank you for sharing it’s other uses.
I have also found you can use freshly picked hops put in a little bag under your pillow as a good way to get to sleep if you are feeling stressed.
Thank you,
Be well,
Piers
