Aloe Vera the gift of nature can give various health benefits to any person. It is beneficial for most systems of our body and can be taken daily as a juice or drink. So it would be beneficial if one understands the health benefits of this wonder herb.

Aloe Vera is very good for our digestive system and helps to avoid constipation. Besides it also assists in the treatment of symptoms like Ulcerative colitis, Peptic ulcer, heartburn, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Ulcerative colitis, Peptic ulcer, heart burn, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), Crohn’s disease and other digestive disorders.

It is interesting to note that Aloe Vera has very strong anti-bacterial, anti-fungal qualities. So it beneficial in treating infections like Candidiasis and vaginitis. Besides it is beneficial in treating inflammatory diseases like osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis and Gouty arthritis.  Aloe Vera is also beneficial for protection of the liver against diseases. One’s immune system is also stimulated by Aloe Vera. This also signifies that it is very effective intracellular anti-oxidant and free radicals scavenger. In addition Aloe Vera has Aloctin-A and Alexin B that help to prevent and control of sarcoma-180 and lymphocytic leukemia.

Aloe Vera is available in the form of juice or liquid also. They help to soothe your digestive system and assist the natural self-cleansing actions of your body. These drinks can be taken in the place of carbonated and caffeine drinks. They help to reduce one’s sugar intake and has the beneficial effect on the health by avoiding temporary rush of sugar that leaves a person drained and jittery. Aloe Vera Juice can be used with benefits like a sports drink as it promotes electrolyte balance.

It is best for one to drink about eight glasses of water a day for one’s body systems to function properly and efficiently Aloe Vera taken in the form of a drink gives one the benefit of meeting one’s daily fluid intake.     I like hearing your comment: “One’s immune system is also stimulated by Aloe Vera. ” I have been looking to boost my immune system to ward off any flus like the swine flu this Fall. I have been taking liquid vitamins & minerals which has Aloe Vera 200:1. I also take 500mg vitamin C in addition to the liquid as recommended by my husband [a pharmacist] to help prevent flus.
