Winter is a dreadful time of the year; especially since your skin begins to stretch in directions that you aren’t too pleased about and it dries up and looks unhealthy. Men have more of a problem since they don’t care much for their skin throughout the year. This leads to havoc on their skin during the colder months.

If the skin on your entire body tends to get dry then you need to take care of it. Firstly start with adding almond oil to your bath water and soak in the water for a few minutes. This will ensure that you are able to moisturize your skin. You could also use a deodorant stick to moisturize your skin; in the summer it works to prevent sweat and odor and in winter it keeps your skin soft and fresh.

Shaving becomes a hassle during these months as the hair gets thicker and it causes a lot of pain. When this happens you need to first use some oil or cream on your face for a few minutes before you start to shave the hair off. Then you will be able to get rid of the hair with ease. After shaving instead of using an after shave lotion you must massage some vitamin E enriched oil onto your skin. This will prevent a razor burn and any tingling sensation that you feel when you are suffering with dry skin.

Aloe Vera gel or the plant extract is a good moisturizer. The plant is known for its healing properties against wounds, cuts and burns and is a friend to your skin during winter. This ensures that you are able to moisturize your skin and avoid any damage to it.

Ensure that you bathe in warm water and not hot water. This will keep your skin well moisturized and also soft. You can use milk to wash your face; soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it on your skin to clean it. Avoid using soaps that dry your skin.
