If you want to sport a naturally healthy and youthful look then I have a few tips for you. Even if you are a grandparent; you need not sport wrinkles to prove that you are one.
When we are young going to the beach and getting a tan seems very appealing. But, you must remember that doing this takes a toll on your skin in the long run. Tanned skin and those that are exposed to the sun for extended periods are more prone to wrinkles and premature aging. It also puts you at the risk of skin cancer. Make sure that you protect yourself from the sun when you are outdoors too. Use sunscreen and glasses to protect your eyes. Also use a hat to protect your head from being exposed to the direct rays of the sun.
Drinking plenty of fluids is another way to prevent the wrinkles from appearing. When you stay hydrated; your body maintains its natural balance and stays plump; in this way you prevent wrinkles.
Another way to prevent wrinkles is to get ample amounts of sleep. This helps to prevent looking too haggard when you grow older. Sleeping for an hour during the afternoon and atleast 6 hours at night helps to prevent dark circles and fine lines from appearing under your eyes. When you sleep your body rejuvenates and your skin gets time to repair itself.
You must try and keep your stress levels in check too. When you are stressed out your body gets tense and you are unable to relax. The first place that your stress reveals itself on is your face. It shows up in the form of furrowed brow lines and fine lines around the mouth.
Your lifestyle has a lot to say about the way you look. If you consume alcohol daily; then you are likely to have wrinkles on your face. This happens because alcohol dehydrates your skin and dry skin is more prone to wrinkles and aging. Also, smoking has adverse effects on your skin. The hot blasts of air that you puff onto your skin damages the skin cells and causes a row of fine lines on your mouth. It also leads to blackening your lips. This is a permanent irreversible damage.
