How to Battle the Fact that You are Underweight

Being underweight is a relative term. If you are lean or slim it does not mean that you are underweight. Even if you are approximately 10% below the average weight you are not considered underweight. You need to be alarmed if you are unable to conduct daily activities, if you are low on energy all the time, if you suffer from insomnia or if you miss your monthly periods.

In some cases being underweight is hereditary yet there are a few factors that contribute to this condition. Bad eating habits as skipping meals; not eating at regular intervals, eating junk food or not exercising lead to bring underweight.

Tips to attain the ideal weight

Incorporating musk melon into your diet is one of the easiest ways to gain weight and attain the ideal weight. In order to gain from this remedy you need to eat musk melon 3 times a day for 40 days. You can eat this in conjunction with other foods and may process the fruit into smoothies, jellies or simply eat it raw. If you incorporate the fruit in the right manner you will notice a steady weight gain.

Eating mangoes are also a great way to increase your weight. You need to choose juicy sweet mangoes. Eat 3 mangoes a day, normally after your meal and drink a glass of milk immediately after the fruit. Mangoes will add sugar to your body and milk adds protein. Both these nutrients together enhance your health and ensure that you gain weight steadily. You must continue with this remedy for an entire month.

You can also go on an exclusive milk diet. The though may make you sick but you need not worry. There are plenty of ways you can make this diet interesting. You can add fruits to the milk to make delicious smoothies or make custards or puddings with milk. In whatever way you plan to incorporate milk into your diet you must drink a glass of this wonder liquid every 3 to 4 hours. If you continue this diet for about a month you will notice that you will gain weight steadily and feel healthier and fatigue will not be something that you will need to deal with.

Figs and raisins are also good for weight gain. Add about 30 grams of these fruits to your daily diet in order to see a positive change in your weight.

Remember when you get onto a weight gain diet you must get adequate exercise in order to let your body go through the change in a positive way. Else the diet will be over whelming for your body and you will experience adverse effects.
