How to Be Flake Free Within Weeks with Home Remedies

Dandruff is a nuisance to any one who suffers from it. Any array of reasons gives rise to dandruff. Stress, lack of hygiene and dry skin are some of the factors that give rise to dandruff. It is best to treat the skin and scalp with natural remedies as they give you long term relief from the condition.

Olive oil is beneficial to the skin. If used on the scalp to treat dandruff then it will be able to get rid of the flakes. Heat the oil for a few seconds and then apply it on your skin and massage it with your finger tips. Keep the oil on your scalp over night and wash it off in the morning with warm water. Avoid using conditioner on your hair when you have dandruff.

Lemon juice is also an effective cure. It is known for its anti septic properties and hence is very effective in the cure of a flaky scalp. Crush garlic and blend it with lemon juice and apply the paste to the scalp. This will ensure that the flakes are washed off from your scalp.

Dandruff is nothing but dead skin cells. In order to ash off these cells you need to massage apple cider vinegar onto your scalp and leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off. This will get rid of the flakes from your scalp and soften it to prevent further flaking.

Tea tree oil can also be used in the cure of dandruff.  In order to benefit from the oil you can either use it directly or add a few drops to your shampoo. This will help you to be flake free for a long time.

Aloe Vera is known for its ability to heal the skin and hence rubbing the juice or gel onto your skin for a few minutes before you wash your hair is a good way to keep your hair free form the pesky flakes. It is also a good way to smoothen and repair the damage done to the scalp. You can also drink the juice of the plant to be able to get an internal cleansing.
